Dr. Walden Brings Her Success To Austin

Named one of the 24 best beauty surgeons in the U.S., Dr. Jennifer Walden is an acknowledged trailblazer in her field. She has trained with the very best cosmetic surgeons in New York City and established an extremely successful practice before she returned to Austin, her hometown, to do the same.

  1. Walden is one of the only females to ever be on the board of directors of the ASAPS (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery). She’s won many awards as a surgeon and is even a published author. She’s been featured on television shows and in magazines.

Jennifer Walden credits her success to simply working hard. The fact that she has natural intelligence, talent and ambition doesn’t hurt either. She prides herself on controlling every aspect of the environment around her and being a much grounded person. She works hard to empathize with patients and their needs.

Much of her personality and drive come from her childhood, she’ll admit. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Her father was dentist and her mother was a surgical nurse. Being one of five children, she was raised in an environment in which education and hard work held much value.

After high school, she attended the University of Texas at Austin for a bachelor’s degree and then was put on a waiting list to get into medical school. Eventually, she made it into the program and ended medical school as Salutatorian of her class. She opted for plastic surgery because she fell in love with the artistry and creativity involved. Jennifer Walden also enjoyed the immediate results that come from cosmetic surgeries.

  1. Walden was put into the plastic surgery program at UT Galveston and accepted a post-residency aesthetic surgery fellowship program at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. One of only two that were accepted for the program, she thrived. She started her own practice shortly after and ultimately had unrivaled success.

After having her two boys, she decided she wanted to raise a family around her Austin family, just like she had been raised. She started all over again in her hometown. Within three years of reestablishing a business in her hometown, the practice has grown astronomically. Dr. Jennifer Walden “has it all”, worked hard to get it and is rightfully proud of the success she can now share with her family.
